A multi-faceted musician known for his success as both a children’s music artist and a rock musician, Cuyahoga Falls-based Jeff Klemm (aka Mr. Jeff) channels his career as a preschool teacher into music, focusing on educating children while engaging them with rock music and a “healthy dose of silly.”

A 2025 National Parenting Products Award Winner, Mom’s Choice Awards Gold Recipient, and World Entertainment Award for Best Children’s Album winner, Mr. Jeff has also started using his music to support Early Childhood Development training in Ohio.

And now, he’s just announced the release of his third full-length album, Big Kid Stuff. The new collection of songs aims to “guide kids through the ups, downs, and big feelings of growing up.”

“This album about growing up is not just for kids, but for all of us,” Klemm says in a press release. “It’s silly and fun, but it’s also about bravery, feelings, friendship, and being exactly who you are.”

Coming in the wake of his 57-stop Loud in the Library Tour and following critically acclaimed albums Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful and Slumberful Slumberful Slumberful, this new release brings Mr. Jeff’s signature silliness and sincerity to a fresh collection of songs that he hopes will “affirm, uplift and groove.”

The album features collaborations with superstars in the children’s music community, including Ronnie Boy Kids, FYÜTCH, Miss Jessica, Tara Trudel and Mega Ran. Also a community effort, the recently-released music video for “Picasso” on Mr. Jeff’s Youtube Channel features more than a dozen Mr. Jeff fans.

Mr. Jeff is celebrating by inviting a limited number of guests to the Album Listening Party at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Summit FM Radio Station in Akron. Physical CDs, digital downloads, and special bundles, including limited-edition merch, are available at mrjeffisfun.com. You can RSVP to the listening party and other upcoming shows at his website as well.
