Given the decidedly dark nature of its music, it’s no surprise that the local metal band Mushroomhead would play a special Christmas show in honor of Krampus, the mythical creature who punishes bad children during the Christmas season.

The special concert takes place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, at the Agora.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.
