Vendors will sell concert photos, vinyl, music memorabilia, biographies, vintage concert T-shirts, music icon fridge magnets, upcycled music instruments, cassettes, tour programs, album cover totes, concert posters and 45s.
Returning vendors include the following: Cleveland concert photographers Janet Macoska, Anastasia Pantsios, and Joe Kleon; concert industry veterans Floyd Longworth from the Floyd Band, Fran Belkin and Marky Ray; Cleveland radio veterans David Helton and John Gorman; author Deanna Adams; local artists Jim Lanza and Jodi Bromberg; and collectors John Bellas and Jim Kraizel.
Rock Shots photographer and author Mike Petrillo, long-time WMMS engineer Bill Alford will be on hand and so will vinyl collectors Jay Burchaski, Rod Flauhaus and Jeff Thornton. The vendor list also includes Duran Duran super fan Jenny E, album cover upcycler Susan Steinicke and salvaged instrument artist Dan Hannan.
Event creator Susan Csendes, a long-time ticketing professional, launched Music & Friends in 2020 as a way to get her music off of her shelves and into other music-loving homes.
“With all of her industry friends also not working during Covid, it turned into something very special for the vendor-friends, a way to keep financially afloat,” reads a press release about the event. “It was also a fantastic place for the community to come together and browse and shop and mostly hang out with others in the Cleveland music community.”
