Into the Blue: Grateful Dead Revival Night

The spirit of the Grateful Dead is a joyous and storied tale. Here in Northeast Ohio, a community of tributes — whole bands and one-off shows — keep the Dead’s sonic ethos alive and buzzing. It performs tonight at 8 at the Beachland Ballroom.

Bruce Springsteen & E Street: Land of Hopes & Dreams American Tour

Enraged at the current administration’s interpretation of the United States as an imperialist country, Bruce Springsteen has enlisted his E Street backing band to hit the road with him on a tour with a purpose. Fellow rabble rouser, Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, will join him for the festivities. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. at Rocket Arena.

Between the Buried and Me

The veteran progressive band headlines a multi-band bill that includes Thank You Scientist and the World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die. The tour supports last year’s The Blue Nowhere, an album of experimental metal along the lines of the Mars Volta or System of a Down. The show begins at 6:30 p.m. at Globe Iron.

Reggae Fest Cleveland

Today’s performers at this annual event include Luciano, Mighty Mystic, Kenyatta Hill, Yard Squad and Lake Erie . Tomorrow, Kabaka Pyramid, Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band, Roots Vibrations, Ms BBc and HWT will perform. Food trucks will be on hand as well. The event takes place at Voinovich Park. Smug Brothers

This Columbus, OH-based garage rock band that formed way back in 2004 returns to town tonight to play the Little Rose Tavern. Expect to hear songs from the band’s latest effort, a new retrospective compilation called Gravity Is Just a Way To Fall. Locals Lavendar Jets, Shattered Mirrors and Fan Fiction open. The show starts at 8 p.m.

Young the Giant

Indie rockers Young the Giant kick off the summer season at Jacobs Pavilion with this show that also features Cold War Kids and Almost Monday. Last year, Young the Giant released an acoustic EP that showed how well tunes such as “Bitter Fruit” and “Mind Over Matter” hold up when stripped down. The concert begins at 5:30 p.m.

The Mississippi born country singer turns up the guitars on his new album, Country! Country! It opens with the raucous, Charlie Daniels-meets-ZZ Top rocker “Country Country” and never lets up. Tonight’s show at Blossom starts at 7 p.m., and Tucker Wetmore and McCoy Moore open.

Don’t Be Dumb, rapper A$AP Rocky’s first project in eight years features cover art by filmmaker and illustrator Tim Burton and features from BossMan Dlow, Brent Faiyaz, Danny Elfman, Doechii, Gorillaz, Jessica Pratt, Jon Batiste, Slay Squad, Thundercat, Tyler, The Creator, Westside Gunn and will.i.am. The versatile artist brings his tour in support of the album to Rocket Arena. The show begins at 7:30 p.m.
