The eccentric, erratic, and eclectic bass guitar virtuoso Les Claypool brought his twisted trifecta of projects to a packed house at Jacob’s Pavilion last night.

Billed as “Claypool Gold,”  Primus, The Claypool Lennon Delirium, and Colonel Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade filled the air with crazy, comic caprice, wild musical complexity, and just plain strangeness.

Primus features the abstract and wildly original long-time guitarist Larry LaLonde and new drummer John “Hoffer” Hoffman.  The “progadelic” multifaceted stylings of Claypool’s two opening projects showcased Sean Lennon and Harry Waters (the son of Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters) joining cake drummer Paulo Baldi, along with a smattering of other talented, diverse, and wildly dynamic players, blending their talents into a potpourri of musical insanity.

Here is all the action we caught.
