Last night at Survival Kit, the Roots of American Music paid tribute to American cartoonist and roots musician Robert Crumb, a guy whose early career began at American Greetings, a company that was located in what is now the 78th Street Studios.

Singer-songwriter Tim Easton headlined the event, which also featured performances by the SpYder Stompers, Sugar Pie and Brent Kirby.
