Though Coco Crisp might argue otherwise, we always believed that “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” was the only decent music to ever come from the game of baseball. We were wrong.
For instance, former Tribe first baseman Ben Broussard released an album a few years ago, appropriately titled “Ben Broussard.” The poppy, guitar-centric songs were written during overnight hotel stays and long bus rides, and feature such lyrical gems as “I don’t want to die/ Without you by my side.” And in 2005, Good Sports Recording put out a CD featuring the musical stylings of 10 major leaguers, including former Indians center fielder Coco Crisp…
