Nirvana Credit: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum has just announced the special guests who’ll be on hand to induct Peter Gabriel, Daryl Hall and John Oates, KISS, Nirvana, Linda Ronstadt, Cat Stevens, the E Street Band, Brian Epstein and Andrew Loog Oldham at the ceremony that takes place on Thursday at Barclays Center in New York. Special guests this year include: Chris Martin (who’ll induct Peter Gabriel), Glenn Frey (who’ll induct Linda Ronstadt), Michael Stipe (who’ll induct Nirvana), Questlove (who’ll induct Hall and Oates), Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Springsteen (who’ll induct the E Street Band), Peter Asher, Carrie Underwood, Emmylou Harris, Tom Morello and Sheryl Crow. Peter Gabriel and Hall and Oates will perform. Raitt, Nicks, Underwood, Harris and Crow will perform a special tribute to Ronstadt. The inductions will air at 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 31 on HBO and in June the Rock Hall will open a special exhibit devoted to the class of 2014.
