Once a month, at either Tower City or Shaker Square Station, you can hear local musicians perform from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. It’s all part of Transit Tracks, a program that allows the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) to have local musicians entertain customers for free throughout the entire year. You can find the schedule of performances for the rest of the year here. And local musicians who are interested in applying for next year can do so here.
During the Senior Games in 2013 and the Gay Games in 2014, RTA expanded the program. It has plans to do so again during the upcoming Republican National Convention, slated for July 18 through July 21 of next year.
