The 18th Annual Detroit MetroTimes Blowout is upon us, taking over three cities (Detroit, Hamtramck and Ferndale) for four nights (April 29 – May 2) with more than 150 bands.

It’s a very fucking special event and our sister paper booked some damn fine headliners in addition to the lengthy roster of local bands that’ll be setting up shop in venues large and small across metro Detroit. Here’s what you can look forward to (full lineup here):

Wednesday: Andrew W.K
Thursday: The Black Lips and Trick Trick
Friday: Alvvays
Saturday: Fucked Up

Wristbands that’ll get you into all the shows are only $20 and are for sale here. Yes, $20. For any and all of the shows. Go buy it. Detroit’s a helluva city.
