Last month, to ratchet up excitement and raise some money for this June’s reunion event celebrating Cleveland’s legendary ’60s folk/rock club LaCave, organizers staged a supper hootenanny event at the home of local folk veteran Gusti. It was intended to be the first of a series of “second Sunday” events.

The response was so strong and the turnout so good that future events have been moved to the Unitarian Universalist Society (2728 Lancashire Rd., Cleveland Hts.). The next one takes place from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, February 14, and will feature Gusti, LaCave reunion committee member David Budin and his brother Noah Budin leading the singing.

It’s $5, and yes, that includes food. All proceeds support the reunion concert.

While the location of the concert has not been announced (who’s betting on Cain Park?), the organizers are saying they will reveal the headliner at the February 14 gathering.
