The tour comes in the wake of the group’s latest studio album, One Shot, which features covers of Ricky Martin’s “Livin La Vida Loca,” Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way” and James Brown’s “Papa’s Got a Brand New Bag.” The LP’s first single is an energetic mash-up of Boyz II Men and Montell Jordan entitled “Motownphilly/This Is How We Do It.”
Last year, the group released a special tenth anniversary edition of Holiday Spirits and will undoubtedly include some holiday tunes on the tour.
The group will play two shows on Dec. 15 at the State Theatre.
Fan pre-sales begin on Tuesday, May 7. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 10.
