The Toasters recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. Robert “Bucket” Hingley — a British expat — is the group’s only original member, but that hasn’t stopped the group from filling clubs around the globe. Look at it this way: Without them, there’d be no No Doubt or any other U.S. group that combines Jamaican riffs, British cheekiness, and skank-worthy hooks.
