Later this year, the Who will also release its first album of new songs. Guitarist/backup singer Simon Townshend, keyboardist Loren Gold, bassist Jon Button and drummer Zak Starkey will join singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend.
The tour marks the band’s first return to the states since a 2017 Las Vegas residency. That same year, it also embarked on a limited run of shows following a rescheduled leg of a 50th anniversary celebration.
““The Who are touring again in 2019. Roger christened this tour Moving On! I love it,” says Townshend in a press release. “It is what both of us want to do — move on with new music, classic Who music, all performed in new and exciting ways. Taking risks, nothing to lose. Looking forward to seeing you all. Are you ready?”
A fan club presale starts at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday.
Every pair of tickets purchased online includes a redeemable code for a CD copy of the band’s forthcoming album. In addition, $1 from each ticket sold will benefit Teen Cancer America.

So……it’s essentially the Roger Daltrey orchestral tour from last year, but now including Pete Townshend.
