The Criterion collection version of Alex Cox’s sci-fi cult classic shows just how much this movie holds up over time. Harry Dean Stanton is terrific as the title character, a fearlessly roam the streets of L.A. to repossess vehicles. The excellent soundtrack features tracks from L.A. punk bands.

<pQuentin Tarantino’s movie rightfully earned an Oscar for Christoph Waltz, who's absolutely terrific in this ultra-violent send-up of a spaghetti Western that also stars Samuel Jackson, Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kerry Washington.
