Scene readers voted for local singer-guitarist Joe Moorhead as the Best Musician in Cleveland in the annual Scene Best Of that came out earlier this year. Moorhead, who plays laid back grooves that have garnered comparisons to Jack Johnson, describes his music as “a rum soaked cool breeze off an island shore.” In keeping with that description, he’s offering a prize pack contest that includes a T-shirt, a koozie, a copy of the band’s latest album, stickers and a $50 bar tab for the show on June 14 at the Put-in-Bay bar Mojito Bay. Fans can enter by following Joe Moorhead on Twitter and tweeting at him with the hashtag #tidesarerising. His Twitter handle is @joemoorhead. The winner will be chosen on June 10 and sent a direct message through Twitter with details.
