The event’s opening ceremony kicks off at 10:15 a.m. with the volunteer-made PorchRokr Guitar Orchestra and concludes with Akron’s own Red Rose Panic on the main stage at 8 p.m. In between, music lovers can walk to as many performances as possible, checking out talent from all over Northeast Ohio and beyond. The event also includes a beer garden, a kid’s zone and even a karaoke porch.
While the festival’s exact location rotates every year, this year’s event is taking over the streets between South Highland Ave., Belvedere Way and the south side of Market Street.
A silent disco dance party heats up at Mustard Seed Market & Cafe at 9 p.m. following the event. Headphone rentals are $5.
