I had a nice little Saturday this weekend. No trip to Bed, Bath & Beyond, but I did hit up the open air market in Ohio City which had plenty of booths hawking jewelry and other assorted trinkets. Then there was a trip to a thrift store and a toy store. It all turned out to be a veritable cornucopia of Cleveland sports memorabilia and apparel.

First, how about this fabulous autographed Rick Manning shirt I discovered in the racks at Flower Child in Lakewood? If it wasn’t priced at an unreasonable $27, I would be wearing it today. Sadly, a picture will have to suffice. Hey, Ed, how could you sell a shirt Rick Manning personally autographed for you? For shame.

Then there was this shirt, sporting a print of what I assume was a real classified ad on the back. No, I didn’t try calling the number to verify. All I need to know about this nameless man I learned from the shirt: He needs money, a pit bull, and a bullet proof vest, but not necessarily in that order.

Much more after the jump, including a Jim Thome rubber duck and some vintage photos.

  1. $5 for a Thome celebriduck is a steal! That Manning shirt is worth more than $27, too. Nice shots.
