Cat Killer Protest in North Ridgeville

catbaby.jpg

We were going to sarcastically file this under: "Really Important Protest in Really Important Suburb," but SEO shit forced us to blow our load a little bit. Anyway, you get the idea.

A rally to stop the senseless killing of innocent civilians cats in Syria North Ridgeville will rally at the source of the slaughter tonight. The nation's largest cat advocacy group (???), Alley Cat Allies will present a petition to North Ridgeville city council calling for an end to feline euthanasia.

About time!

The rally starts at 6:45 pm at South Central Park across from city hall, and will direct its hottest embers toward humane officer Barry Accorti, who sent a feral cat and her kittens to "kitty heaven" earlier this month.

Evidently, Accorti will not be disciplined and Alley Cat Allies just can't take it anymore. As such, part of this evening's protest will include a meeting with humane officers to talk about measures like trap-neuter-return of feral cats.

As it happens, the rally is the second-most interesting event this evening centered around domesticated animals. That's right, folks, it's PUPPYPALOOZA AT THE JAKE.

Go Tribe!

And, um: Go...activism?
