A massive mansion belonging to former Cleveland Cavalier Dion Waiters is now on the market in South Florida.
Located at 5745 SW 94th St. in Pinecrest, Florida, the home was built in 2016 and is one of the largest in the Pinecrest area, spanning 13,712-square-feet.
The listing agent is Ashley Michelle Velez of P.U.R.E. Investments, who recently told Realtor.com that the property is called “Waiters Island” because “it’s his own private getaway.”
“On that property, you don’t feel like anybody is around you. It’s a lot of land for somebody who wants to be private,” Velez told the site. “It feels like it is his own resort, and he loves the house.”
In total “Waiters Island” sits on two acres and comes with nine bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, as well as three primary suites, 12-foot doors, a theatre, an outdoor kitchen, a teppanyaki grill, multiple pools, and more.
Born in Philadelphia, Waiters hasn’t been in the league since winning an NBA Championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020. Since being drafted by the Cavaliers in 2012, Waiters bounced around the league, playing for the Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Waiters Island is currently asking $18 million.
