This week for Q104 our food critic dishes on the best restaurants in Cleveland for a first date.

Here are his suggestions for where to eat, what to do, and- most importantly- how to get that second date.

9 Great First Date Restaurants in Cleveland

The Gordon Square district has many restaurants that would make a first date list. But sharing a pizza in one of the sexy zebra pattern chairs in the lounge at LUXE is hard to beat. Finish the night off by walking hand in hand across the street to the showstopping Sweet Moses Treats for a sundae or milkshake.

The Melting Pot in in Legacy Village is the ultimate for first date romance. Feeding each other a the dessert platter of rice crispy treats, strawberries, and bananas dipped in hot milk chocolate will 100% get you a second date. After dinner, head down the road to the House of Swing to witness some of the coolest live music in the CLE.

Sharing a maki roll at Ginko in Tremont is the perfect combination of sexy and quaint to start off a romantic evening. Then have a night cap at the legendary Velvet Tango Room. We recommend the "deal sealer" - the Moscow Mule.

Little Italy is an almost perfect first date destination. And Guarino's Ristorante underground dining room will surely set the mood for your night. After your fill of pasta stroll down to Corbo's Bakery for a canolli.

The perfect Saturday afternoon date should start by perusing the West Side Market. The architecture, the sights, the smells will no doubt charm any date. Hook a right out of the WSM to the quaint Orale for some empanadas. Also be sure to check out the famous Before I Die wall along side the Market Garden Brewery.

Show this date your food diversity by having dinner at the Indian staple Cafe Tandoor. Plan it right so you can catch an Indy film at the Cedar Lee Theater.
