Riders can hop back and forth between the east and west bank of the Flats this year for free thanks to ArcelorMittal.

As a centennial gift to the Metroparks, the steelmaker will be covering the cost for riders in the 2017 season. Launched last year, the eLCee2 ferried back and forth across the Cuyahoga River at $2 a pop.

The 26-foot boat can carry 17 passengers and some bikes. Hours are Friday from 4 to 9 p.m; Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
