Video: Here's What it's Like to Ride the Entirety of Steel Vengeance, Cedar Point's Newest Coaster

Cedar Point opens to the public May 5, that is if snow, floods and tornadoes ever subside in Northeast Ohio.

But no matter when the doors actually open this year, Steel Vengeance, the brand new crazy-ass hybrid roller coaster (steel track and wood supports) is waiting for you. And finally you can get a look at what riding the whole thing is like, as a new video was just dropped. Watch as Cedar Point spokesperson Tony Clark and Vice President Jason McClure check out the coaster for the first time below:

As already reported, this year's Cedar Point ticket will be the most expensive in recent memory, but with the opportunity to ride this outrageous coaster — this thing goes upside down without any over the shoulder straps keeping you in your seat — the price will assuradley be worth it for many.

Steel Vengeance opens where the old Mean Streak once stood. Here's a breakdown of what to expect from the new thrill ride, according to the park's website:
Ride Stats
Height: 205 feet
Speed: 74 mph
First Drop: 200 feet
Inversions: 4
Length: 5,740 feet
Duration: 2 minutes, 30 seconds
Height Requirement: 48"
Trains: 3
Riders per Train: 24
Riders per Hour: 1,200
The new coaster also breaks an astounding 15 combined world, hybrid and park records. Test runs of the newly built coaster began earlier this year. We hope to try this bad boy soon.
