I do not like shopping at the Wally-World in my own neighborhood, let alone this place.

Had one terrible experience with management never went back I saw this coming!
Only I shop at is Strongville or Avon Lake Walmart….Steelyard really never has much in stock..I won’t go spastic on them like other’s but it sorta is kinda ghetto even for it being in Cleveland. Ghetto= floors dirty (sticky), register belts coroded with who knows, and clothes have stains on them. People are somewhat okay and nice. #straightenupWalmart
Back in 2005 a group of Cleveland bloggers banned together and created No Cleveland Walmart [thewritingonthewalDOTnet/?m=200505] to stop the building of the Steelyard Commons Walmart.
We failed.

I have shopped at this Walmart many times and never had any problems. For it to be the worst in America is just ridiculous. I don’t believe it’s even the worst in Ohio. I’ve shopped at Target once and had such a terrible experience I have never went back.

Dirty, unkept, rude impolite workers. Don’t ever ever ever ever go into one of the bathrooms you’ll come out with some disease. You will wait for at least at least 20 to70 minutes to check out. I was physically attacked whine shopping there. Several protesters came into the store to protest something and they attacked me. No police we’re called they offered me a bottle of warm water that’s it. I asked then to call the police their response was:
“We can not call the police because in doing so it makes us liable to any injuries or to any legal action that may take place as a result of what has occurred”

I’ve traveled a lot have visited many Wal-Mart’s in the US and I’ve never seen one that comes even remotely as bad as the Steelyard Commons in Cleve OH.
And what’s sad it’s corporate Wal-Mart refuses to do anything about it.
I’ve been shopping elsewhere and if I have to I travel out of my way to another Wal-Mart.
Maybe if more people complained they would clean the place up but I seriously don’t any action will be taken.
If it isn’t the worst….what is?

My Dog was molested for 45 minutes at this Walmart waiting in line to get cigarettes then he was told they didn’t have any left. He is now pregnant and we think the father is one of the managers who works there.
The old St Ann MO Walmart was the literal worst trash pit I ever saw. (Coming from someone who used to be management at Walmart home office and stores) luckily they moved that location. Can’t comment on this one. But I’m sure there are far worse

THEY JUST LEFT ME ON THE PHONE FOR HALF AN HOUR THEN HUNG UP. I CALLED RIGHT BACK AND WAS TOLD AFTER TEN MINUTES THEY WERE OUT OF STOCK. WHE I ASKED THEM WHEN THEY MIGHT HAVE THEM SHE SAID ” A TRUCK COMES EVERY NIGHT WITH STUFF BUT WE NEVER KNOW WHAT “
Proliferation of Walmarts were the slippery slope of a whole lot of economic and social downfall.

This is a pretty lousy Walmart. Dirty, unorganized, lousy customer service. The Target down the street is barely much better!

This video is ridiculous I shop at this Walmart all the time yes customers just put things elsewhere and at times run out of items but I will continue to shop at this store.
so my mother took me here today… this was one of the WORST places on earth. horrible customer service, place was a mess, about 300 people there waiting to check out. one of the workers at the steelyard walmart was extremely rude, as we were exchanging a few items this lady was on the phone with a customer and put her on hold for a good 10 minutes then got back on the phone, put her on hold again then finally answered her question. maybe me and my family arent used to the hood, poverty or dirty ness but by far the worst place ive ever been. the target right down the way was not much better.
