The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum has a slew of events slated to take place in honor of Black History Month. Sinkane, an electronic/funk musician who spent some time living in Northeast Ohio before moving to his current home in Brooklyn, starts things off on Feb. 6. He plays the Rock Hall’s monthly Sonic Sessions program at 9 that night.

George Clinton of Parliament/Funkadelic fame participates in an Inductee Author Series that takes place at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9, at the Black Box Theatre of the Tommy LiPuma Center for Creative Arts of Cuyahoga Community College, adjacent to the Rock Hall’s Library and Archives. At 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, hip-hop photographer Joe Conzo
and special guest Grandmaster Caz of legendary rap group the Cold Crush Brothers
will speak at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum’s Foster Theater. At 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, the Rock Hall will show the film Underground Dance Masters: Final History of a Forgotten Era. The screening will be followed by a discussion and a dance demonstration hosted by director Thomas Guzman-Sanchez and producer Paul Guzman-Sanchez. Thomas Guzman-Sanchez will also discuss the companion book to the film.

Tickets to the Sinkane concert are $5.50. The other events are free, but tickets are still required. Those will become available to Rock Hall Members on Monday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. and will become available to the general public on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. EST. Reservations can be made here or in-person at the Rock Hall Box Office. Visit for the latest updates.
