The March for Our Lives rally kicks off at 10 a.m. on Public Square.
The campaign posted the following on its Facebook page:
“On March 24, we will March For Our Lives in Cleveland, Ohio to stand up and say we will not tolerate inaction. We DEMAND action on gun control in this country and we demand it NOW.”
At this time, about 700 people said they would attend, while 3.7K are interested in attending.

The only thing that keeps a totalitarian state from taking over the US is the threat of our citizen’s firearms.
We will not allow an emotional mob driven by concealed elitist policies of disarming the population to sway us into turning in our weapons.
Gun crimes occur everyday in Cleveland. A city councilor called for a state of emergency after multiple shootouts in North Collinwood. Yet these people did nothing.
These people do not care about gun access or laws. They care only about the leftist political agenda.
Ban all weapons including all guns, knives, and grenades. Also batons, and baseball bats. Also no homemade bombs or hockey sticks (field hockey too). Chainsaws, nail guns, hammers, axes, well all tools and kitchen knives too have to get banned. Crossbows should be banned obviously but also cars as weapons should never be allowed. If someone punches someone too hard, their hands should be considered weapons and they should not be able to have them then or feet if they are kicking people. But if they only punch soft they can keep them. Nunchucks, but also anything you could swing Luke also we need to be banning coins in a sock and brass knuckles and crossbows. No wooden sticks or ever throwing hot coffee at a guy either. We need bans on every weapon ever.
Free speech means anyone with the ability to type can get online and say whatever they want. That includes those who ignore that people have been killed and instead promote fear that their guns could be taken away. This proves that you dont have to be paid off by the NRA to show more concern for guns than human life. Wake up, people! No one is taking your guns away. But the use of assault weapons must end and stricter laws including raising the minimum age to purchase any kind of gun must be put in place. Lets all agree America has a problem involving guns and then lets finally get something done.
No one is ignoring the death caused by guns. They are far too violent for everyday use. However there does need to access to weapons for regular citizens outside of the military. In every age, our highest levels of law enforcement have been shown to harbor political agents operating on agendas that go against the will and laws of this country. Should these be the only people with access to firearms? We are not under direct threat but things change and sometimes governments turn on their citizens.
These people are literally trying to take specific guns away. That is the point of the rally. You liberals all think just because you say something it’s true. Why do these people go after a guns for citizens advocate group instead of the manufacturers of these guns? Because the are trying to disarm the citizens.
Why do these groups always attack the NRA? The NRA does not make these guns.
It seems like the underlying motive here is to convince the citizens or guilt them into giving up specific guns that would allow them to fight back against a tyrannical state.
I heard David Hogg is coming to interview people in closets about gun control. He and Emma Gonzalez are letting you know they are done with adults having access to firearms because CNN told them so.
These communist gun grabbers are using child actors to disarm those who can fight back against them.

I will NEVER understand why SCENE allows this to keep on happening, and why they allow spammers and trolls to piss all over their boards. For the record, I am a gun owner. My 38 revolver is perfectly adequate to protect my home and family. I’m not expecting an angry mob of pitchforks and torches at my door. Our Founding Fathers were speaking about single-shot, muzzle-loaded flintlock pistols and muskets when they penned the 2nd Amendment. Nobody had artillery in their front yards. They would be shocked and appalled to know their descendants had unlimited access to assault weapons and enough firepower to blow away hundreds of children in seconds. By the NRA’s logic, why should we stop there? Why not have flamethrowers, rocket-propelled grenades and tanks?
