Andy & Me

Andy & Me is a play inspired by the relationship between iconic New York City artists, Jean- Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol. With New York City's burgeoning 1980s hip-hop scene as the backdrop, the play follows homeless artist Lex-Pierre through his journey to legitimize graffiti art. Lex finds an unlikely muse in a man named Andy, who mentors and guides Lex on his journey to success. Written by Tri-C student, Stu Pflaum, this original work is a world premier production. Tickets are free, however donations will be accepted at the door to benefit the Tri-C Drama Club.
