Dont put those sparklers away yet — theres one more July Fourth celebration. The Cleveland Orchestra presents its annual
Star-Spangled Spectacular Concert downtown tonight. The bash (now in its 18th year) ranks as one of the citys top draws. Its also one of the best. Franz Welser-Möst conducts the ensemble in a program of favorites by Bernstein, Gershwin, and Tchaikovsky. Before that, however, theres a pre-show festival featuring music by nonclassical performers. It all culminates in fireworks. The festival starts at 4:15 p.m. on Public Square. The concert begins at 9 p.m. Admission is free. Visit www.clevelandorch.com for more information.
