You would think even the most hardened car thief would take pause if, in the process of a carjacking, he finds a unattended toddler in the car.
Not Jose Quiros Collazo, an Ashtabula man who not only didn’t let the child quell his desire for the vehicle, but decided to dispose of a 1-year-old kid by dumping him in the snow.
The Star Beacon reports that a woman driving a Chevy HHR Crossover left her two children, the 1-year-old and a 5-year-old, in the car while she brought lunch to her husband, a U.S. Marines Corp recruiter. Not a good call on her part, for sure. But she probably didn’t envision that some thug would target her car and her kids.

I hope that father f**ked that dude up for throwing his kid in the snow!!! I would have busted dudes head wide open with a tire iron. No one and I mean No one F**ks with my babies!!!!
Sorry, but leaving two small kids in a car, running, with keys in it, even for a couple minutes, was incredibly stupid on that mom’s part.
Even if no thug showed up, the car could have somehow gotten in gear and rolled away with the kids in it.
And though it’s bad to toss a kid out of the car, it beats having some jerk drive off with your kid, to dump the kid someplace remote, or worse…
I hope Mom has learned a lesson from this.
I agree totally with you Delia!! I just meant by my first statement that I hoped the father beat him good for messing with his family since he was able to get his hands on him.;
