That residency ended a few weeks back but the owners have been busy searching for a more permanent home, which they hope to secure this summer. Until then, they will be hosting a series of pop-ups to stay in the public eye. The first one will take place at the Katz Club Diner (1975 Lee Rd.) from 4-8 p.m. on June 2nd and 3rd.
They have begun taking orders for their trademark thick, Sicilian-style, square-cut pies, sold by the quarter-sheet pan. Selections range from a veggie creation to the Meat Sweats, loaded with pepperoni, sausage, salami, banana peppers and jalapeno. Diners also can build their own pie. Also available are a few salads and a customizable pasta. A dinner for two ($45) option includes a salad, pasta and pizza.
