In 1988, Cowboy Junkies made their mark with The Trinity Session, a beautifully recorded release that relied on a combination of folk, blues and rock.

Some 30 years on, the Canadian band is still at it. Just last year, it released Ghosts, another album that shows off singer Margo Timmins’s sultry vocals.

Its tour to support that album will come to the Kent Stage at 8 p.m. on Oct. 15.

Tickets to the Cowboy Junkies’ concert at the Kent Stage go on sale at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 21.
