Kyrie Irving is sadly no longer a Cleveland Cavalier. And after weeks of radio silence, the basketball star took to Instagram today to thank the people of Cleveland, also linking to a video.

“This is a special video just strictly to Cleveland,” a strikingly beardless Irving says to the camera.

Throughout his four-minute thank you speech, Irving never mentions his trade to fellow Eastern Conference team the Boston Celtics, a dislike for LeBron James/Dan Gilbert, or even his wish to start his own self-sustaining community. Instead, he speaks only of love for the people who supported him these past seasons in Cleveland.

“I care, I love the world, and I love people and I love being around people,” Irving says.
