A Cuyahoga County Jail inmate is on life support following a suicide attempt on Friday, July 5, a source told Scene over the weekend. Cleveland.com confirmed the news with three sources of its own.
The inmate, whose name has not been released, was in jail on a probation violation. He was taken to MetroHealth hospital.
Further details are scarce but the incident reinforces the troubling trends over the last year that brought a U.S. Marshal’s investigation, a cascade of resignations, and a handful of indictments. Nine inmates have died in the past year at the facility, with five of those being suicides.
There were 69 suicide attempts by inmates in the Cuyahoga County jail in 2018, according to numbers released by the county. That’s a 64-percent increase from 2017, when there were 42 suicide attempts, which itself was a jump from 2016, when there were 23 attempts.

And next up, another million Dollar lawsuit that the county taxpayers will be on the hook for yet again!!!
How can we get thief Budish recalled from office now??? Until hes finally sent to jail for his constant shenanigans, nothing will likely ever change around here!!!
