Celebrate Friday the 13th Tonight at These Haunted Northeast Ohio Attractions

It’s still September — and still summer — but fans of the ghastly and ghoulish get to celebrate this Friday the 13th all the same. Tonight, under the glow of a full moon, some of Northeast Ohio’s favorite haunted attractions are opening for the season, of for one-night-only events, in honor of this unlucky date.

HalloWeekends at Cedar Point, one of Sandusky’s favorite traditions, opens tonight, with tickets starting at $45.

Akron’s Haunted Schoolhouse and Canton’s Factory of Terror are both hosting a glowstick tour from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. to kick off the spooky season with a one-time low price of $20 per person.

Explore the Forest of Screams in Medina, starting with a 1-mile haunted hayride and continuing on foot on the Night Stalker’s Trail, which will lead you to the Mortuary’s Haunted House. General admission on site is $28, or email ahead to get a group discount — even more reason not to go alone.

If the woods are too much for you, the Bloodview Haunted House begins its 39th season tonight in Broadview Heights. Admission is $20, or $30 for an all-night pass.
