Billed as a “meatacular six-course beer dinner,” Carnivore Christmas is an annual feast hosted by the Lady Butchers, aka Penny Barend and Melissa Khoury of Saucisson (5324 Fleet Ave., 216-303-9067). These festive dinners feature plenty of meat, plenty of beer, and equal parts good cheer. This year’s bash will be held from 5:30 to 10 p.m. on Monday, December 9, at the Nash (3563 E. 80th St.) in Slavic Village.

On tap is a six-course meal that prominently features meat. Ange Lupica, pastry chef of Sweet Teeth Confections, will cap off the meal with dessert. Terrestrial Brewing will provide the beer pairings, augmented by collaborations with Brick & Barrel and Noble Beast.

The night starts with a happy hour featuring live music. Dinner starts at 7 p.m.
A portion of the ticket sales and all proceeds of the raffle will be donated to University Settlement’s Toy Collection. Guests are also encouraged to bring unwrapped gifts to be donated as well.

“It’s a super fun night of Holiday Cheer with an excessive amount of beer and meats,” says Barend. “Drunk Santa and his Sexy Elf and Mrs. Klaus even make an appearance.”
