Wait … wasn’t the Home & Garden Show last week? We don’t blame you for being confused. After the long-running Cleveland Home & Garden Show moved from the I-X Center to the Great Lakes Expo Center and its usual February slot to an earlier one, the I-X Center booked a brand new event in the old time period. The Great Big Home & Garden Expo will include many of the same features, like show gardens (21 of them, designed by professional landscapers around a musical theme), model homes, a marketplace with furniture, cookware, tool, gift and other vendors, and stages featuring speakers on gardening, home-improvement, cooking and interior design. Extreme Makeover’s Ty Pennington will even appear on the main stage on Saturday, February 13. There’s also a KidsZone playground to quell the kvetching after Dad’s spent an hour talking with someone about how to install patio flagstones. The show opens at 9 a.m. today. It runs through February 14. Admission: $4-$13. — Anastasia Pantsios
