The show might be billed as the Weiss Family, but what you’re really getting is brothers Aaron and Mike Weiss of Philadelphia’s mewithoutYou. Unlike the spastic/joyful gigs they play with their fulltime group, Weiss Family shows feature stripped-down, mostly percussion-free interpretations of mewithoutYou’s catalog. You have to figure the quieter surroundings will probably engender even more preaching than these wordy Lord-lovers are normally known for. The set list draws heavily from this year’s it’s all crazy! it’s all false! it’s all a dream! it’s alright, which is based on the teachings of a Sufi mystic. Also on the bill is Damien Jurado, a singer-songwriter occasionally lumped in with the Christian crowd, although he takes a far subtler approach than his tourmates. Jurado is also without a band for this tour, playing solo renditions of songs from his latest album, the divorce song cycle Caught in the Trees. It all starts at 8 p.m. at Musica (51 E.
