Memorial Day Weekend is the unofficial kickoff to summer and Scene’s Taste of Summer is the perfect opportunity to get outside and enjoy the outdoors (even if the weather isn’t quite perfect). The event features local food vendors, local music, craft cocktails and a slew of lawn games for all ages. The event runs today through Sunday. Times are 4 p.m.-10 p.m. Friday and noon-10 p.m Saturday and Sunday.

Dogs are allowed at this event, but do note there are thousands of people coming out to Taste of Summer. Make sure your dog is accustomed to large crowds. There will be a Yappy Hour starting at 4 p.m. on Friday. Credit: Emanuel Wallace
