Ashley Spencer
Word is that local actress Ashley Spencer is one of two finalists on NBC’s reality show, Grease: You’re the one That I Want, which will cast the lead roles in a new Broadway rendition of Grease.
I say “word is” because when the show aired last night, I was busy watching the Outdoor Life Network, tying to pick up tips on how to gut a trout while simultaneously shotgunning a Miller High Life and shaving my beard with a hunting knife.
But I heard that Ashley, who is 21 and from Massillon, looked amazing and sounded even better as she belted out “Hopelessly Devoted To You.” That’s so awesome … if you’re into that kind of thing. — Joe P. Tone
