Need something to do with the kids while theyre on spring break this week? The James A. Garfield House helps out with a belated
Easter Egg Roll today. The annual fave — which has been around since the 1870s! — includes hard-boiled eggs, spoons, and some very agile participants. You have to crouch over to roll the egg, says organizer Mary Luoma. The egg wobbles like crazy. Some people practice for days. Its not simple. Todays program also includes craft-making sessions, museum tours, and some storytelling. And dont worry about keeping the kids outside. It could be snowing, raining, or warm out, says Luoma. We will push on with the race.
