Comedian Doug Stanhope plans to run for president next year. But that doesn’t mean he needs to pay attention to State of the Union Addresses. “I’d be better off going to the bar and reading the sound bites in the paper the next day,” he says. Stanhope’s agenda includes ending wars in Iraq, issues with drugs, and lowering the drinking age. He says the truth in his comedy is the very thing that’ll make him the country’s first honest leader. However, we’re not so sure red or blue states are ready for a prez who digs penis pumps and Fuck My Face dolls.
