Funnyman Drew Carey is about to bust a move (or two or three) on the new season of Dancing with the Stars, Good Morning America announced today.

The Cleveland native will be one of 11 celebrity contestants this season, which kicks off on March 17.

Professional dancer and two time Dancing with the Stars champ Cheryl Burke is slated to be Carey’s partner.


Scene suspects Carey was drafted by show producers to help bring a little comic relief to the program, which has been known to get pretty hot and heated, because, let’s be honest, we already know the man can dance:
