Like most comedians, Ohio-born Gary Owen headed to Los Angeles to make it big. But he quickly returned to the Buckeye State. “You can’t ask your friends in L.A. to babysit,” he says. “They’re like, ‘We have to get to this party’ or ‘I have this audition.’” Owen — who played a police officer in last year’s Wayans brothers comedy Little Man — admits he misses a few things about L.A. “Our governor was the Terminator,” he says. “We could punk any other state. ‘Who’s your governor?’ Terminator. We didn’t care what Arnold’s political agenda was. We just wanted the Terminator to be our governor.”
