The 36-year-old Kitty has performed her bawdy and cheesy revue at local nightclubs for more than eight years now. She brings her self-proclaimed schizophrenic lounge numbers to Prosperity Social Club tonight. Piano-man Stanley Moss and percussionist Pedro Dell join her. The act, which features campy covers of Styx, Journey, and Snoop Dogg songs, has netted Kitty lots of local fans -- especially gay ones. They expect something new and bizarre, she says. Im like their drag queen -- but without the duct tape. Still, Kitty -- who used to sing for the local jazz group Swank Motel in the 90s -- hopes to expand her show to include a 19-piece orchestra. Shed even like to play in front of Playhouse Square audiences someday. Its not for the money, she says. But for the hurrah of shocking as many people in Cleveland as humanly possible.
