Park & Rides

Potato-sack slides and Tilt-a-Whirls invade the 20-acre I-X Center this weekend for the start of the annual Indoor Amusement Park. While it's still too early to think about Cedar Point, the indoor carnival offers 60 rides that are bound to cure your cabin fever. And it's not just for kids. There's also a "parents' pavilion" with the favorite toys of adults inside: couches, lounge chairs, computers, and TVs, there to entertain parents while the young'uns hit the rides. Throw in midway games and fair food, and you get about 200,000 guests through the middle of next month. The park is open today from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is $19 ($16 for kids). Call 800-897-3942 or visit www.ixamusementpark.com for a complete schedule.
