Northeast Ohio’s newest fashion moguls launch their
Cleveland Clothing Company tonight with a blowout at the Velvet Dog. The line isn’t the first foray into the fashion world for Jason Fisher and Jim Mollica. In 2004, they sold out a limited edition of shirts for Avowal and then discovered they could design their own logo and plaster it on cotton T-shirts. At $22 each, they now come in white, black, and navy blue, with a white, crimson, or metallic gold logo. The pair will soon expand the company to include hats, jeans, and hoodies. The company provides a symbol of Cleveland pride for locals, expatriates, and tourists looking to take home a nontraditional piece of the city,” says spokesman Marcus Sims.
