Jen Schefft, the Mentor native most famous for getting engaged to gazillionaire Andrew Firestone on The Bachelor, then subsequently getting dumped has — surprise! surprise!– written a book about the experience called Better Single Than Sorry: A No-Regrets Guide to Loving Yourself and Never Settling.
This, Jen’s publicist has assured us, is not simply a long-winded address to her mother about the reasons why she’s still single, but rather a self-empowering look about “the upsides of being single” and the “importance of being happy alone before getting in a relationship.”
