Every year, the Children’s Museum of Cleveland builds a ginormous sand sculpture. This year’s offering, Egyptian Sands, turns the museum into a land of pyramids and pharaohs with more than 70 tons of sand. Visitors aren’t allowed to touch the intricately sculpted pieces, but they can get their mitts on many of the interactive exhibits — which include history lessons on everything from the Nile River to fashionable mud-brick homes.
