2026 US Air Guitar National Qualifier

Hosted by reigning Cleveland Air Guitar Champion, Ricky “Stinkfingers,” this annual competition features contestants going to great lengths to mimic guitar solos. Each contestant gets 60 seconds to strut their stuff. A qualifying event for the international competition takes place at 8 p.m. at CODA.

Freak the Mighty

The Seattle Rep and the Cleveland Play House team up to present this special musical about two friends who become superheroes. Tonight’s performance takes place at 7:30 at the Allen Theatre, where performances continue through June 21.

Hot Mulligan

The Midwest emo band performs at 5:30 p.m. at Jacobs Pavilion. Joyce Manor, Saturdays at Your Place and Koyo open. The show begins at 5:30 p.m. The Sound a Body Makes When It’s Still, Hot Mulligan’s latest album, features catchy melodies as the group evokes acts such as the Used and the Wonder Years with vocals that alternate between crooning and screaming.

SOUND: MEDS

Local musician LaToya Kent has organized this experimental listening experience that comes across as an artsy yoga class. The first 25 minutes will host two local artists performing a 12 min set each. A short break is followed by a 25-minute silent meditation. It takes place at 7 p.m. at SPACES.

Alejandro Aranda

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alejandro Aranda made it to the finals of American Idol Season 17. Now, he’s embarked on a national tour that comes to Mahall’s 20 Lanes in Lakewood. The show begins at 6 p.m.

Zach Angeloni Release Party

This local musician celebrates the release of his new album, Lottery Crowd, with tonight’s show at Sean Wheeler’s art studio at Soulcraft Makerspace. The album features a full band with local artists Tuck Mindrum on bass, Mario Slagle on drums, Dustin Mayle on backing vocals, and was mixed by Rhys Edwards. The show begins at 8 p.m.

Iration

The reggae group performs at 6 tonight at the Agora. Tribal Seeds and Surfer Girl open. Recent hit singles from the group include their latest song “Roots,” a tune featuring Hawaiian reggae country crossover artist Maoli, and “Say Goodnight,” a tune that spotlights indie hip-hop duo Little Stranger.

Matilda

Academy Award–nominated composer David Newman conducts the Cleveland Orchestra as it plays the score to the movie about a little girl with a magical secret. Director Danny DeVito will be on hand to narrate. The event begins at 7 p.m. at Mandel Concert Hall.

Mt. Joy

The Philadelphia based band named after a national park in Southwest Pennsylvania performs at 6:30 p.m. at Jacobs Pavilion. The tour supports their 2025 album, Hope We Have Fun, an album that shows off the group’s musical range as it veers from alt-country twang (“More More More”) to Beck-like romps (“Pink Lady”). Singer Matt Quinn’s distinctive upper register vocals hold it all together.

Polka & Pierogies with Chardon Polka Band

Chardon Polka Band performs at this special outdoor concert that takes place at 6 p.m. at Cleveland Botanical Garden. So CLE Tees will be on hand to hawk polka-related merch.

Angelle Sheridan

The local singer-songwriter plays a release party for her new album, Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blues. The concert begins at 8 p.m. at Headquarters Bar and Grill.

Ali Siddiq

The comedian who famously honed his act while serving hard time brings his Custom Fit tour to Connor Palace. Expect him to debut brand new material during the set. The show begins at 7 p.m.

Speech & Debate

Case Western Reserve University’s Don Carrier directs this play about high school students who aim to expose a corrupt drama teacher. Tonight’s performance takes place at 7:30 at Beck Center for the Arts, where performances continue through June 28.

AJ & The Woods

The local folk/rock group celebrates the release of its new album with this show at Lake Affect Studios. Lea Marra & the River Boys and Maura Rogers & the Bellows open the show. The concert begins at 7 p.m.

Annual Family Fishing Day

This free, family-friendly event that takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rockefeller Lagoon celebrates the joys of fishing. Experienced fishing instructors from Cleveland Metroparks will be on-site to assist. No fishing license is required. Advanced registration is encouraged.

Art in the Village

Legacy Village hosts this art festival that takes place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow. An eclectic mix of over 100 top artists will participate in the juried show that features fine jewelry, exquisite works of art and hand-crafted apparel and décor. Art in the Village also includes a full craft market with handmade organic soaps, live plants and treats. The weekend includes live music from Cats on Holiday, Justo Saborit and Havana Nights, Steve Radcliffe and Back9 Par4.

Cleveland Pops: 250th Celebration

The Cleveland Pops Orchestra pays tribute to American styles of music such as Ragtime, Dixieland and Big Band at this special concert that takes place at 7:30 p.m. at Mandel Concert Hall.

Concert to Fight Hunger

The Carl Baldassarre Orchestra has teamed up with the Berea Community Outreach Program and Food Pantry for this special benefit concert at the Lorain Palace Theatre. Organizers have asked concert goers to bring dry food, cans and household paper products to the show. The Baldassaree Orchestra will present its all-new Ultimate Classic Rock Experience 1965-1975 show. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m.

Drawn from the Archive: Remembering Women from Chagrin Falls History

Amelia Vinson, a Drawing and Painting junior at the Cleveland Institute of Art, has partnered with the Chagrin History Center to present Drawn from the Archive: Remembering Women from Chagrin Falls History, a collection of paintings and drawings centering on women in Chagrin Falls. The exhibit opens with an artist’s talk that takes place at 6 p.m. at the Chagrin History Center.

Music in the Garden

These free concerts featuring local bands take place on the first and third Saturdays throughout the summer at the Ben Franklin Community Garden. You can bring a lawn chair, and admission is free. Today, the Americana act Hey Mavis will perform at the event.

Pride in the CLE 2026

Expect live performances, food trucks, a beer garden, local vendors and family-friendly activities at this free event that begins at 10 a.m. at Public Square. The March begins at Public Square and ends at Mall C. An annual tradition, the event is always a terrific celebration of diversity and tolerance, something needed now more than ever.

Road to 26: Brazil V Egypt

The World Cup comes to Cleveland as Brazil, one of soccer’s most storied teams, takes on Egypt in this qualifying game at Huntington Bank Field. The game begins at 6 p.m.

Chest Fever

After successfully recreating the Band’s The Last Waltz and Rock of Ages, the rock group Chest Fever now turns to the Band and Bob Dylan, frequent collaborators in the 1960s. Tonight’s show at the Mercury Music Lounge in Lakewood will feature three parts: a set dedicated to the Band; a Bob Dylan acoustic set; and a full electric finale featuring Dylan and the Band material.

Outdoor Community Market

Local artists, ceramicists, photographers, vintage curators, bakers, food vendors, and small businesses from across Northeast Ohio will be on hand for this event that takes place at Guest Room, the resale shop in Tremont. Featured vendors include Millie’s Cocktail Bar, Cookie Boy CLE, Juli Blanch, Victoria Henning, Marc Scott, and Ellen Gurley.

Pride Celebration at the Rock Hall
