Lots of bars celebrate summer with special theme nights. But only one gets folks totally wet: Around the Corner’s weekly Dunk Tank sessions.
Every Wednesday, the Lakewood hot spot hauls a giant, water-filled container onto its patio. Then guys and gals take turns sitting in it while beer-lubed patrons throw balls at them. But it’s gonna cost you a dollar if you want to try to soak whoever’s in the tank. (Proceeds benefit different charities each week.) “It’s become so popular,” says general manager Ryan Krivosh.
